The story behind Ecvestria Ranch is one of dream — and hard work.

It all began in childhood, when the dream of living on an animal farm took shape in the imagination of those who wanted to be closer to nature.

Over the years, this dream was nurtured with passion and determination,

and at last, it became reality.

Am petrecut câteva ore frumoase la Ecvestria Ranch Mâncarea a fost foarte bună, iar copiii s-au bucurat din plin de experiență - au hrănit animăluțele și s-au jucat în voie, într-un mediu sigur și relaxant. Am apreciat în mod special personalul: amabil, zâmbitor și implicat. Se vede că locul este îngrijit cu drag, mai ales că erau în plin proces de lucrări de primăvară, ceea ce ne-a dat senzația de prospețime și atenție la detalii. Recomand cu drag pentru familii cu copii și pentru oricine își dorește o evadare liniștită în natură.

Locația este foarte frumoasă și liniștită. Camerele sunt noi, plăcute și bine izolate. ​Pentru copii sunt multe opțiuni de joacă în curte: trambuline, tiroliană mică, ping-pong și, interacțiunea cu animalele și echitația. ​Mâncarea la restaurant este bună , dar meniul este destul de limitat pentru vegetarieni. Per total, o experiență relaxantă și plăcută.

I really liked it. They have very beautiful goats that come to be petted, rabbits and about 5-7 beautiful horses that you can ride. There are many activities such as horseback riding, ziplining, a kind of mini gym and playground. The staff is very kind and nice.

Probably one of the best places for day out with the family. Superb atmosphere, polite services and nice food presentation. Needs more work on the taste, though. Definitely will return every time when back in Romania as the place is absolutely memorable.

They ea hotel, a zoo, a park a restaurant and a cafeteria at the same place. I paid 10 euros for 3 coffees and I think that it really deserves the money. Can't wait for the summertime to visit it again. Really amazing place especially if you have kids.

This location....can't explain in words....heaven ....paradise a must seen in the county of Vâlcea. They actually offer horse ridings and you can also feed the animals , pool and so many other fun activities....tirolian etc. Thank you Ecvestria Ranch

Where is Ecvestria Ranch?

Ocnele Mari, Vâlcea, Ganjulești Street 35 — about 10 km from Râmnicu Vâlcea, next to the Ocnele Mari Salt Mine.

How do I book accommodation?

What room types do you have?

Deluxe rooms: double, triple and family, in the Ecvestria Chalet concept — comfort, quiet and access to the restaurant, farm and activities.

Is the restaurant open without staying overnight?

Yes. You can dine without staying overnight. The restaurant operates without reservations for individual guests; reservations are accepted only for organized groups and private events.

What is Serenity by Ecvestria?

Serenity by Ecvestria is the ranch’s Vâlcea pool — an outdoor relaxation area for overnight guests.

Do you have a pool in Vâlcea?

Yes. The Vâlcea pool (Serenity by Ecvestria) is on the Ecvestria Ranch grounds, exclusively for overnight guests at Ecvestria Chalet.

Do you have activities for children?

Yes: interactive farm, playground, Mocăniță, age-appropriate horseback rides and other on-site experiences. Children are welcome with an accompanying adult.

Do you organise school trips?

Yes. We have packages for school groups (admission, activities, optional meal). Send a request from the Excursions & rates page or call us for a quote.

What are your opening hours?

We are open daily, generally 10:00–22:00. For groups, events or special bookings, hours can be adapted with prior notice.

Do you have parking?

Yes, on-site parking is available for ranch guests.

What is the cancellation policy?

Bookings are confirmed with full payment. Free cancellation at least 7 days before check-in; you may also reschedule within the same calendar year, subject to availability. Details on the Cancellations page.

Do you allow pets?

Yes — small and medium pets only. For overnight stays: 50 lei per pet (please mention it when booking). If you're only visiting the farm for the day, there's no extra charge for your pet.
